On August 22, 2025, AO “Inclusiv EU” organized an informative meeting dedicated to the launch of a community mobilization campaign for the adoption of responsible energy behavior, part of the project “Partnership for energy efficiency and quality assurance of services provided by the Accommodation and Orientation Center for homeless people in Chișinău municipality.”
This project is implemented in collaboration with the General Directorate for Medical and Social Assistance (DGAMS) and receives financial support from the European Union under the initiative “Local Partnerships for Energy Efficiency in Social Services,” co-financed and implemented by the Soros Foundation Moldova, in partnership with IP Keystone Moldova and the Social Innovation Fund Moldova (FISM).
The event took place in the DGAMS meeting room and brought together 10 active members of the community, representatives of the AO “Inclusiv EU” and DGAMS officials, with the aim of strengthening a common front in promoting energy efficiency in social services.
The objectives of the meeting were clear:
- Training participants in key energy efficiency concepts;
- Establishing a joint action plan and clarifying individual roles;
- Learning communication messages to effectively mobilize beneficiaries and local partners;
- Raising awareness of the importance of energy resources in a vulnerable social context.
Participants were actively involved in training sessions, applied discussions, and strategic planning. The meeting ended with a recap of the next steps and a group photo—a symbol of a community united in the face of change.
The event marks an important step in the commitment to a more sustainable and inclusive Chișinău, where social services become models of good practice in efficient resource management.
